Mutual Empathy is an impact venture studio designed to ideate and create Nature Solutions with an initial focus in the Amazon Bioregion that solve global environmental and social problems. Mutual Empathy focuses on a proprietary venture building exercise leveraging ancestral and contemporary technologies. It also designs with a robust innovative finance strategy targeting both traditional venture capital and pioneering results-based finance (RBF) mechanisms.

The Doughnut Economics Model integrates the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), showing the interdependence of the biosphere, society, and economy. The foundation (biosphere) supports societal well-being, which in turn sustains economic activities. Together, these frameworks emphasize the urgency of staying within ecological limits while fostering sustainable human development.

Founder & CEO Mutual Empathy
Alejandro Calderon, a native of Colombia, has 15 years of experience in the financial sector with JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley. He founded Mutual Empathy, a Venture Impact Studio focused on creating and incubating high-impact projects in the circular and creative economies. Some of the verticals he has co-founded with Mutual Empathy: Companies like ValueSkies, Salva, Selvazul, Jaguara RBF, Neutraloop, and Canoa Cósmica.
